Our publisher is Petros IT Solutions SRL, the company behind Avocalo. Content is educational and is not personal medical or dietary advice. App links promote our own product; store pricing and subscription terms apply.

Sources and verification

We prefer primary sources such as nutrition labels, public food-composition databases, and original research. We match raw or cooked food entries to the weight used. Worked examples are checked arithmetically. Hypothetical values are labeled as illustrative, not presented as measurements. Publication and update dates appear on articles.

Authorship and checks

Our editorial team chooses every topic. Each guide is researched from the sources it cites and published once it passes our checks. Guides are signed by the Avocalo Editorial Team. The team and the publishing organization are responsible for the published text, and the team's page states what it does and does not claim.

Before publication, a separate check compares every figure with the source it cites, every statement about the app with our list of verified product facts, and every link with the page it points to. A guide that fails a check is not published. We do not invent experiments, professional qualifications, expert reviews, or app accuracy results. The pictures in our guides are illustrations, never evidence of a measured meal.

Twelve languages

Each guide is published in English, Romanian, French, Russian, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Turkish, Japanese and Arabic. Every version is written for its readers from the same sources and passes the same checks in its own language, so the figures, the worked examples and the structure match across all twelve. Portuguese follows Brazilian usage, and Spanish is written for readers in Spain and Latin America. A change to any version is checked again, in every language, before it goes live.
